Privacy Policy

A gambling licence obliges us to know who is playing, which means we hold more of your details than a shop would. This page sets out exactly what we keep, why we keep it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 12 September 2026 · Applies to micky13pokies.com and every account opened through it

Why we hold anything at all

Our Malta Gaming Authority licence requires identity checks, age verification and transaction records. That obligation, not marketing, drives most of what is on this page.

Seven years

How long financial and verification records stay with us after an account closes.

Never sold

We do not sell member data. Sharing happens only where this page says it does.

01

Who we are

Mickey13 Casino operates micky13pokies.com and has done so since 2024 under a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority. When this page says we or us, it means the company holding that licence. When it says you, it means anyone who opens an account, deposits, or simply browses the site.

Questions about anything below go to [email protected], or through 24/7 live chat if you would rather type at someone in real time.

02

What we collect

Four groups, and nothing outside them.

Group What it covers Where it comes from
Account Name, date of birth, email, phone, residential address, username, password hash, currency and language preference. You, at registration.
Verification Photo ID, proof of address, and where a payment method needs it, proof of ownership. You, when we ask.
Financial Deposits, withdrawals, method used, amounts, timestamps, bonus and loyalty point movements. Generated as you play and bank.
Technical IP address, device and browser, session times, pages viewed, game launches, limits you set. Collected automatically.

Support conversations — chat transcripts and emails — are kept alongside your account so the next person you speak to does not make you repeat yourself.

03

Why we hold it

  • To run your account. Logging you in, crediting deposits, paying withdrawals, tracking loyalty points across four VIP levels and applying your 5% cashback.
  • To meet the licence. Age verification, identity checks, source-of-funds checks where the amounts require them, and the transaction trail a regulator can ask to see.
  • To keep play safe. Deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusions only work if we can recognise the person they belong to.
  • To spot fraud. Duplicate accounts, bonus abuse, stolen cards and account takeovers are all found in patterns across technical and financial data.
  • To improve the site. Aggregated figures on which games get played and where sessions break.
  • To send offers, but only while you want them. See clause 09.
04

Identity checks

We verify every member. Usually it happens before a first withdrawal, sometimes earlier if a deposit pattern calls for it. Expect to be asked for a government photo ID, a document showing your address dated within the last three months, and — when a card or wallet is involved — evidence that the method belongs to you.

Practical tip: upload documents through the account area rather than email. They travel encrypted and land straight in the verification queue instead of an inbox.

Checks are not optional and we cannot waive them. An unverified account can play, but it cannot cash out.

05

Who else sees your data

A short list, and every name on it is bound by contract to use the data only for the job we hired them for.

  • Payment providers — card processors, e-wallets such as MuchBetter and Flexepin, and the blockchain networks behind Bitcoin and Dogecoin transfers, which are public by design.
  • Verification services that check documents and sanctions lists.
  • Game studios — the 40 providers whose titles you launch receive the session data needed to run the game and settle the round, not your identity documents.
  • The Malta Gaming Authority and any regulator or law-enforcement body making a lawful request.
  • Our own infrastructure providers — hosting, email delivery, the live chat platform.

We do not sell member data, and we do not hand your details to advertisers as a list.

06

How long it stays

Record Kept for
Account and verification Seven years after closure, as anti-money-laundering rules require.
Financial transactions Seven years from the date of the transaction.
Support conversations Two years, then deleted.
Technical logs Twelve months in identifiable form.
Self-exclusion records Indefinitely — an exclusion we forget is an exclusion that fails.
07

How we protect it

Traffic to and from the site runs over TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never as text. Payment card numbers are handled by our processors and reach us only as a truncated reference. Access to member records is limited to staff whose job needs it, every access is logged, and the logs are audited.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data and carries real risk to you, we will tell you and the regulator, and we will say what happened rather than what sounds best.

08

Your rights

  • A copy of what we hold about you, in a readable format.
  • A correction of anything wrong. Names and addresses change; tell us and we will update them.
  • Deletion, where no legal duty forces us to keep the record. Financial and verification data is the usual exception.
  • Restriction or objection, if you think we are processing something we should not be.
  • Withdrawal of consent for marketing at any time, with no effect on your account.
  1. Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and say which right you are using.
  2. We confirm receipt within two business days.
  3. We answer in full within 30 days, or sooner. If a request is complex and needs longer, we will tell you before the 30 days are up, not after.

If our answer does not satisfy you, Australian members can raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and anyone can complain to the Maltese data protection authority that supervises our licence.

09

Marketing

Promotional email and SMS go out only to members who opted in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works on the first click. You can also switch marketing off in your account settings, or ask support to do it.

Turning marketing off does not stop service messages: withdrawal confirmations, security alerts, verification requests and changes to these terms will still reach you, because they are part of running your account.

Cookies

Cookies and similar storage have their own page, because there is more to say than fits here. It covers what each category does, which ones you can refuse, and how to clear them in any major browser.

Read the Cookies Policy.

11

Under 18s

Gambling with us is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect anything from a person under 18, and any account we find in the hands of a minor is closed immediately, with stakes returned and winnings void.

If you share a device with children, filtering software such as Gamban or BetBlocker keeps gambling sites off it entirely. Our responsible gaming page explains how to set that up.

12

Changes and contact

When this policy changes in a way that affects you, we email the address on your account before the change takes effect. Minor wording fixes are made quietly, with the date at the top of this page updated to match.

Privacy questions: [email protected]. Everything else: our contact page lists the right route.
